The Next Japanese Prime Minister?

I’m working my way through Japanorama, Jonathon Ross’ hilarious tour through Japan, in which he explores the more absurd (to our eyes) elements to Japanese culture. Tokyo is probably number one on my list of places that I must visit before I build my house on the moon. Anyway, here is Ross’ interview with Hard Gay, the Japanese sensation. I don’t think its really possible to describe this man without a video, so here it is:

Like that? Well here’s another one, this time Hard Gay in action on a Japanese cookery show, in which he uses his hip thrusting ability to classic effect. Rather than say anymore, I’ll ask you simply to watch, and imagine the reaction if TV3 made a show like this in Ireland. I doubt the Eircom infrastructure could handle traffic on Joe Duffy’s phoneline. Hilarious.
