Winging it
This is, without a doubt, one the most insane news stories I’ve read all year. A 15 year old boy from the Urals suffered extreme frost bite during a two hour flight from Perm to Moscow. No other passengers on the plane had any problems, so how was this poor boy exposed to such cold? Because he was not taking the flight in the passenger cabin, or even in the luggage department. He was clinging on to dear life inside one of the wings of the Boeing 737. After somehow sneaking undiscovered onto the runway of the airport in Perm, and alledgedly because he was running away from some trouble at home, he climbed onto one of the wings of the modern jet liner unnoticed.
The jet powered down the runway, and flew 1300 kilometres to Moscow, travelling at a crusing speed of about 560mph, and Andrei, on the ride of his life, was subject to temperatures of -50 Degrees Celcius. Two hours later the 737 touched down in Moscow, and Andrei collapsed on the tarmac. His arms and legs were so severely frozen that emergency workers were at first unable to remove his clothes and shoes. Doctors say it is nothing short of a miracle that he survived the flight. He is now being treated in hospital for his severe frostbite.
Despite the outlandishness of the story, Russian officials have confirmed it.
To quote a comedy legend:
